The snow looked a bit treacherous on the trail near the summit, so we chose to go only a short distance more. Also, the sunshine was really bright reflected in the snow, and we both thought sunburn would surely happen!Sauk Mountain Hike Aug 2011<br />Looking down, we could see Sauk Lake, still partly covered with lots of snow. They live in Bellingham, and traveled via bicycles, camping along the way.
